We are looking at having a meet-up in July at a disused Golf course near Wigan

Either date suits, although the 2nd is me Bday, I’ll be up early doors anyway…thats old age though🤣.
There are toilets at the clubhouse to which we’ll be using the car park and there’s also a cafe in there people can get a bite to eat. Don’t know any prices or quality, or times of opening (probably 10am being Sunday) but can find out
Local shops and the pub are only a mile away in UpHolland.
Asda is only around 1.5 miles away as the crow flies but will take around 5 mins due to road lay out.
The Golfy is great for flying. There’s different TOAL sites what I’ve used, either open field on top a hill or fields with large trees knocking about with loads of gaps👍. Not to far of a walk from the car park. Of course it was a Golfy so if these don’t suit…its bloody big and there’s much, much more.
And most of all, Sunday mornings up there are so quiet people wise you can hear a proverbial pin drop​:+1:… That’s when you havnt got Avata’s flying about…

Can’t make the 2nd I’m away so 16th for me

I saw “Wigan” and I thought … nah … then I saw the map and figured out it was Upholland and … yay!
I’ll try to be there. Although not for bloody 6am, that’s mad stuff.
