Could be a reverse mounted main recording camera. One person I follow sometimes mounts his Red pointing to the rear for that very reason.

I was out walking the dog the other week, and heard a quad.
It just so happened that I had my goggles on me, so had a watch 
. This random guy went just over a mile out and back with a clear signal. I wish I could of done it. I think he was testing his range… Who knows?
