Not my video

Couldn’t find the video equivalent of the ongoing ‘Not mine’ thread for photos… but thought starting one might be worth it to share this gem I just stumbled on.

The combination of tilt shift and hyper lapse really makes it come to life. Hate to thing how much filming time was in there let alone the editing time

A gem it certainly is. A refreshing change from the norm too, very creative

Agreed. My 30 minute hyperlapses end up 15 seconds. So this 3 minute video would have comprised about 6 hours of clips (shot over many days). And then the editing :scream:

I loved this video as it combines 2 of my pastimes: Mountains and drone videos. Spectacularly shown by a guy who is clearly talented at photography and story telling.

All we need to do now is identify which, if any, clip is taken with a drone.

Well, the put aerial in the title, and I’m taking them at their word

Not saying none is, and his notes say …

That, of course, could be his default notes for all his vids … not checked.

Most is most definitely shot from the ground.

Would agree - the time lapses are very very steady - probably too steady for a Mini 2 - which is the only drone mentioned, Still a great video though with plenty of food for thought :+1: :+1: :+1:

Mavic Pro 2 is also mentioned.

Zero parallax movement over significant amounts of time.

The only one that probably is a drone is at 2:14. But could have been from a boat.

Duh - senior moment - and its right next to the Mini 2 in the list :man_facepalming:

Excellent…once I started to watch your vid i couldn’t stop.
Brilliant. :+1:

WOW…The size of the people against the Mountains reminds us just how Tiny and insignificant we are against the might of nature.
Fantastic. :+1:

If you look at his channel he shows you in later vid’s how some of the footage is filmed incuding those with Mavic Pro and mini 2 drones. As far as I can tell there is only the 2 of them, him and I presume his girlfriend. A lot of his close ups are gimbal mounted cameras but he’d need pretty big arms to film the long range moving shots even though some are straight.

The original M1P only appeared on the market Oct/Nov '16.

Phantom, then, probably.

One thing is not in doubt - he’s an accomplished videographer / editor.

Which ever way you look at it he has turned out a Brilliant piece of workmanship…
:+1:

Definitely some drone footage in this one…

To be honest I don’t really care if there’s any drone footage - these videos are absolutely brilliant    -many thanks for sharing :+1: :+1: :+1:

I did my first tilt shift hyperlapse the other day, not being a big editor of images other than the auto correct in the iPhone photos app I was directed to this app in a video I watched on YouTube and the end result below.
