Ferryhridge power station is blowing up a cooling tower on the 28th July. Might be worth scoping out a good vantage point for a rare chance to film a cooling tower being brought down.
Already sourced ;o)
Thought you might have done, but posted it just in case you weren’t aware.
Potential Yorks meet-up event too?
Looks spot on.
Are we ok to use your drone for the close ups Chris?
I thought we’d send the inspire closest, most stable in the blast I’d have thought
Or his new baby
When does the red camera come Mick?
WTF
Oooh, my roster says It’s my day off on the 28th. Fingers crossed for good weather
To add to his arsenal of gear
Bet there’s a Notam that day within a mile or two
Drone there is about 1400m away, over private land (that we have owners permission to be on).
I think we might be safe, just need to source breakfast or brunch for the hungry one
I thought Chris might have a spare “Red” kicking about.
After buying the Matrice 600 Pro I can’t afford a camera for it now. WTF
Fingers crossed.
Let’s hope so
Anyone got a camping stove for the eggs n bacon for little Mickdd
If not he won’t come …and that’s a promise
Weather not looking too good this weekend.
Anyone heard if this is still going ahead?
Any ideas what time was it down for?
Got something on first thing, wouldn’t mimd a trip across if weather ok
Cheers Chris.
