I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Land owner permission requirements unknown.
Close to an area of High-Intensity Radio Transmissions to the north and the Joint Services Diving School (active military establishment) to the south.

Thanks for the share @JackGolding
I’ve flown here too @JackGolding
Parking is easy, I used the parking right outside and TOAL was from the park immediately to the north which according to the Fareham council website is public land.
Good views of the castle from that location, although had to walk around to the North Side to get much of the water views in order to remain VLOS since the park by the car parking area is pretty limited by the high walls of the castle and the trees.
It was a busy day with several other drone operators present - but I had time to kill while my other half was inside the castle looking around.
Do be mindful of the Fleet lands FRZ immediately to the West however.

Am I able to take off from the green here and fly over the road as indicated in the picture to get a good view of the small carpark. Attending the emergency services day on the 6th and would like to get some ariel photos, keeping clear of large crowds, the diving school and not over flying the carparks. Sub 250g drone.
There should be no problems as long as you keep a reasonable height above people. It might be worth your while letting the guys at the gate to the diving school kniow that you will be operating north of them and that you understand not to overfly their area. That will save them getting curious.
Possibly a quick word with the organisers of the event pointing out that you are ware of the legalities involved and ythat you will be flying with all due care might be a help.
Although received wisdom is that it is better to act and apologise afterward that isn’t always the case with drone flying, especially where authority is involved. A headsup and a n open, friendly manner often helps to allay their misgivings.
At the very worst you may be told no. So then you will have to console yourself with ground shots for closeups and there is nothing to stop you taking off from a public open spaceto get oblique views of the whole event without overflying the event itself.
