Posting Drones after selling

So I’ve just sold my Mavic fly more and obviously want to ensure it arrives with its new owner without issue.

When looking at postage it seems quite a number won’t allow me to send with the batteries.

Who has everyone else used in the past?

When I sold my Mavic Mini 1, I used Royal Mail Special Delivery. I can’t recall whether or not they asked what was in the box.

Thanks, @markas. Just reading their terms now. Seems to be ok

I know it’s a minefield trying to post batteries these days. I think my reasoning for going ahead with Royal Mail was it was all packaged correctly within its original boxes. (it got there safely anyway)

I’d go with Special Delivery, may not be the cheapest but I’ve found it to be the best for higher value items. Never had an issue with batteries, sometimes they ask and stick a warning sticker on the box.

DPD will deliver lipos so I’d guess they’d be good to use for a complete drone :+1:t2:

Couple of existing threads on this subject already which may be worth a read:

In your case though @Howard78 as you’re sending the drone too it isn’t usually a problem.

Thanks - yes I was surprised that Royal Mail would take it.

Sadly it was bloody expensive compared to others
