Just been given my first drone. Quinux H8. How do you know when the drone battery is fully charged. It starts with a red light which eventually goes out??
Don’t know nothing about these drones but the reviews are not great, put Qinux in the search bar or have a read Here
Bought because the reviews were good?? However found the answer now in the handbook . Thanks
Ah ok good job,
Would you care to share the solution should anyone else run into the same problem it may help
Thank you
Good luck with this drone. Quick google has failed to turn up some of what I think are essential features, and previous correspondence here is not encouraging. Sadly, there are a lot of similar drones on the market, usually from Amazon or Temu, and, while cheap, they don’t really cut the mustard. I know, had one of these before getting something better…
Firstly, does it have GPS? You will need to check this by studying the manusl, not by relying on the marketing blurb. If it does not have GPS, it will be difficult/impossible to control and impossible to get a steady hover. Moreover, there will be no ‘RTH’ feature (Return to Home, very re-assuring!).
Next, are the joysticks ‘graduated’, or is there one setting, off or full power. If the latter, again, control will be difficult. You need to be able to move slowly as well as at full pelt!
Thirdly, what is the signal transmission method between the RC and the drone. Cheaper drones will use wifi, which does not have the range or resilience to cope with anyting more than short-range basic flights. Do not confuse this with the camera image range, which will be much greater.
The makers get sround the Trades Descriptions legislation by saying that such drones are ‘for kids’ inferring that they are toys. They are mostly, IMHO, not fit for purpose. Even as toys.
Advice would be to look for a better-featured drone, and DJI is the default. They make a ‘Neo’ for £189 which will get you airborne and flying steadily, but this model needs extra RC controller to get the full range of features, great if you want a ‘starter & upgrade’ setup to spred the cost. Otherwise you want to be budgeting for about £270 (DJI Mini 4K & RC) or models from Autel, Potensic, or Holystone at similar price levels and specs.
