Just wondering how this will be with V01.03.0500 released today
The new firmware looks good for the mavic 3 series.
What did the release say the firmware is for?

I am guessing the firmware upgrade on the controller is required for this.
The firmware on the drone won’t affect the RC controller or hack
But you need to update the DJI RC and the release notes say

Worth mentioning again, but if you have a new RC (not the pro) you must have a version below 0400 in order to install this hack.
0400 and higher will not work unless the hack is already installed. And if it is re-install before you upgrade. Then upgrade, then reapply the hack.
This also does not work on the RC2 as far as I know.
when you are on 0100 install patch v1.4(i had v1.3 so i installed v1.4 over it)
after that i was told you could update to 0500 and after that reapply the v1.4 patch again(did not try yet)
i also read that when you are on 0400 you could try to install v1.4, wait 2 hours and install it again
upgrade to 0500(using dji assistant) and after that install v1.4 again
worth trying if you are stuck at 0400 and you lost the fcc hack
and i will stay on 0100 for now. the only reason for DJI for bringing out new versions is to stop exploit.
al the new things they offered in 0500 like homepoint visible, homepoint route back, drone shadow they did not make it avaiulable for the mini 3 pro and this is really strange because the mini 3 pro should be capable of doing these thing, no extra sensors necessary
Using my previous instructions for the 0400 I have done the 0500 upgrade and reapplied successfully in exactly the same way with no issues at all on my RM330.
Basically just apply the patch again to your existing version, perform the upgrade and then apply again.
