Hi, i just applied successfully the hack on my rc controller. In the end i decided to work with Rimzler although a bit more expensive. I just felt uneasy about the Kim Yung Un Foto on the paypal payment request… Everything worked out fine with Rimzler.

Hi, Are the configuration parameters permanent or do you need to set them every time again ?

I’ve not really messed about with those but, I have put it in to Atti mode as per the readme txt, that’s permanent unless you turn it off ( Atti off ),
Maybe someone with more knowledge of yr question will be able to answer. :+1:t2:

Talked with Sincoder, did the job on RC2 from Air 3, took a few tries and some chat with him but in the end is working. For now I have used only CC US and led off. I have some questions… as we know dji remote can be tracked to operator’s location but if you take off, update rth and then use rcgps off, doesn’t than mean now you can’t be tracked anymore but still use rth on that first point as a safety? As for the second question, landing on/off is only for mavic 3?

I can’t edit my message but as an observation, even if I’m using FCC US the auxiliary led and aircraft front arm led menus still will not be available in the safety options.

Might be wrong, but I thought that as long as you updated on 1.03.0100 you could then upgrade to a later version and still mod.

However if you start at 1.03.0400 you can’t.

NEW patch release RC (RM330) control with firmware higher than 01.03.0100 :man_dancing: :clap:

RC firmware supported: 01.03.0400 > 01.03.1000

If the above video isn’t self explanatory enough, I google translated and tweaked a set of Spanish instructions.

Note: unlike other hacks, this one requires you to delete a 900mb file from the RC, copy a hacked 900mb file from the SD card back to the RC … all within a 25 second window, or you have to start all over again :grimacing:

After spending some time with this new hack installation process, these instructions need to be rewritten. The above set aren’t mine, they are merely a Google Translate version … and do not capture everything, trust me :man_facepalming:

I’ll document how I did it in a bit. Put it this way, Sincoder has had his ear bent these last 24 hours. I will also send him my set of English instructions to distribute to other folk (if he wants to), so they don’t fall fowl of the issues I faced.

But good news, I can vouch the FCC hack works for FW above 01.03.0100 on the DJI RC.
