RC Pro Controller and DJI RC/ RC 2 with FCC hack by Sincoder

About 7 in the past 24 hours :grimacing: I was stuck in a loop for a good half of it. But then I spotted where the issue was. What he (and the instructions/video) don’t mention, is that if you are not on v01.03.0400 to start with, the first pass will be to downgrade you to v01.03.0400. Then the instructions are losely correct (with lots of ā€˜mind the gap’ moments).

Again, I will update the instructions soon as poss.

kim jong un, will be for ever grateful and in your back pocket :grinning:

Let’s hope not! :running_man: :dash:

I have written my own set of instructions.

For anyone else who has already upgraded their firmware past v01.03.0100, and has paid Sincoder for his hack … please use these (not the one above posted yesterday). These new instructions work. Yesterday’s do not.

Note: the same link he gave you when you purchased the hack will download the latest hack.

I am now on v01.03.1000, the latest firmware, with the FCC hack (as proved by checking the transmission graph in the RC settings).

Revised instructions below:

Jeeeeeeez & more jeeeeeeez :scream::joy:

Yep, proper hacking. Are you going to attempt it Rich?

Just asking incase I should put my out of office on

I think I’d sell up !
My head is spun out trying to read it šŸ«ØšŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Once you get your head round the process, it is fairly straight forward. But I have to admit, this is more demanding than any hack to date. The challenge as always with this hack is the documentation, but beggars can’t be chosers and all that. Hopefully, the instructions help. Ultimately, you keep running the hack until you (a) are on the latest firmware, and (b) see the promt telling you it’s successful.

Do you have to be on the latest FW then ? You not get no choice if you have an ARB value 0 & you can roll back ?

No, not at all. If you have passed the ARB (which I did), it will roll you back to the one before (which is the undocumented step that I fell fowl of), and it will download the previous firmware, install it … then start the hack from there. It is a well thought out hack to be fair.

Mine was already at v0700. It downgraded me to v0400, then applied the hack.

The problem for me was that the supplied (Spanish?) instructions and the video started as if I was at v0400, but I wasn’t. So there was an extra step for me to downgrade to v0400, then I could begin the hack. But because this was undocumented, I followed the provided guidance and it kept failing.

Final point, if you mess up the hack, running djifcc.exe will start again at v0400. So there is little or no risk … just staring at command prompts all over again

Whoever thinks up these things are above & beyond me :joy:
If it’s that hard for the consumer ( the instal process ), imagine building it !

Yes, fair do’s to them, back room boys who don’t give up providing us mere mortals with what really should available out of the box. DJI are unfortunately towing the line a little more of late.

It’s only these back room coders who are providing us with what DJI offered out the box only a few years back. God help 5 years from now :man_facepalming:

A post was merged into an existing topic: Drone Hacks app - How to enable FCC mode and remove NFZs on your DJI Mavic Air, Air 2, Mavic Mini, Mini 2, Mini 3 or DJI FPV drone

@clinkadink oh boy today I looked at instructions and video link again and seen what I wasted 6½ last night trying to do, last night all I was doing is trying to find is a link to sincoder and the djifcc file.

I bloody put WiFi on my mini 3 pro as I needed to get info and it brought up firmware updates I thought no problem do it and update hack

Like a idiot I kept trying and trying clicking the hack and testing them had to reinstall latest firmware as it installed a different version and would not recognise my bird :scream: I gave up in the end and reset all data and cleared install of latest DJI firmware.

What I wasted all night on was not reading the new file instructions :scream: the part about putting the file on the RC :scream:

I do now understand the procedure and need my elephant fingers moving rapidly deleting and changing files around.

Question
I tried to get hold of sincoder to get pass for the Mini 4 pro without luck.

Sincoder last year gave me another djifcc zip file for my mini 3 pro when I asked as it had all the hacks, would this be outdated with the newer firmware? No reply from sincoder asking for newer file for DJI mini 3 pro and buy one for mini 4 pro.

I tried the original not even seen my posts

Clicked on links here and someone’s reading my posts but no reply

Old link

New link

It’s not the easiest hack, good luck.

Big thanks Chris, i needed the mini 3 pro on FCC as signal is bad otherwise.

Don’t understand why sincoder has not replied as he’s normally quick in response.

Look at drone tweaks and see they can do mini 3 and 4 pro but via android.

If I buy drone tweaks app can I use it for both drones as by the following statement from there site seems so but I doubt it
