About 7 in the past 24 hours I was stuck in a loop for a good half of it. But then I spotted where the issue was. What he (and the instructions/video) donāt mention, is that if you are not on v01.03.0400 to start with, the first pass will be to downgrade you to v01.03.0400. Then the instructions are losely correct (with lots of āmind the gapā moments).
Again, I will update the instructions soon as poss.
For anyone else who has already upgraded their firmware past v01.03.0100, and has paid Sincoder for his hack ⦠please use these (not the one above posted yesterday). These new instructions work. Yesterdayās do not.
Note: the same link he gave you when you purchased the hack will download the latest hack.
I am now on v01.03.1000, the latest firmware, with the FCC hack (as proved by checking the transmission graph in the RC settings).
Once you get your head round the process, it is fairly straight forward. But I have to admit, this is more demanding than any hack to date. The challenge as always with this hack is the documentation, but beggars canāt be chosers and all that. Hopefully, the instructions help. Ultimately, you keep running the hack until you (a) are on the latest firmware, and (b) see the promt telling you itās successful.
No, not at all. If you have passed the ARB (which I did), it will roll you back to the one before (which is the undocumented step that I fell fowl of), and it will download the previous firmware, install it ⦠then start the hack from there. It is a well thought out hack to be fair.
Mine was already at v0700. It downgraded me to v0400, then applied the hack.
The problem for me was that the supplied (Spanish?) instructions and the video started as if I was at v0400, but I wasnāt. So there was an extra step for me to downgrade to v0400, then I could begin the hack. But because this was undocumented, I followed the provided guidance and it kept failing.
Final point, if you mess up the hack, running djifcc.exe will start again at v0400. So there is little or no risk ⦠just staring at command prompts all over again
Yes, fair doās to them, back room boys who donāt give up providing us mere mortals with what really should available out of the box. DJI are unfortunately towing the line a little more of late.
Itās only these back room coders who are providing us with what DJI offered out the box only a few years back. God help 5 years from now
@clinkadink oh boy today I looked at instructions and video link again and seen what I wasted 6½ last night trying to do, last night all I was doing is trying to find is a link to sincoder and the djifcc file.
I bloody put WiFi on my mini 3 pro as I needed to get info and it brought up firmware updates I thought no problem do it and update hack
Like a idiot I kept trying and trying clicking the hack and testing them had to reinstall latest firmware as it installed a different version and would not recognise my bird I gave up in the end and reset all data and cleared install of latest DJI firmware.
What I wasted all night on was not reading the new file instructions the part about putting the file on the RC
I do now understand the procedure and need my elephant fingers moving rapidly deleting and changing files around.
Question
I tried to get hold of sincoder to get pass for the Mini 4 pro without luck.
Sincoder last year gave me another djifcc zip file for my mini 3 pro when I asked as it had all the hacks, would this be outdated with the newer firmware? No reply from sincoder asking for newer file for DJI mini 3 pro and buy one for mini 4 pro.
I tried the original not even seen my posts
Clicked on links here and someoneās reading my posts but no reply
