River Great Ouse in Bedford at sunrise

Finally some decent flying weather after nearly two weeks, that fitted around my work shifts. Aftyer finishing nightshift last night just before sunrise, I thought it would be the perfect time to get out and fly for a while before sleeping. This is the only photo I took - by accident as it happens. I must have switched to photo mode accidentally whilst moving to a new spot. Took off hit what i thought was record for a video, and got this. Not too shabby really, hehe.

Remember that being built. Lovely part of Bedford (actually the only nice bit of Bedford lol! along the embankment). Spent much of my teenage years around there in the summer

Before my time. I moved to Bedford in '89, it was already there then.

Yeah, definitely the most picturesque part of town.

Haha I got confused. It was the butterfly bridge I remember opening, not that one in your photo. When you said 89, I was 10 then, so probably not long after the butterfly bridge was built and opened

1997 it opened, there ya go  Was 18! Wowsers…

AH right. Yeah, I remember the butterfly bridge being built. You can see that in the background of this pic. So just pretend you meant the furthest bridge in the photo when you said that
