I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Only suitable for sub 250g drones as likely to infringe on 30/50m minimums from uninvolved folks.
On street parking available but likely busy.
Advise calling 101 & getting an incident number prior to flying due to close proximity of residential area.
SLDC allow drones.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 09/08/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

That hotel wastes the look of that picture 90 % fabulous character buildings then 10% hotel that does not fit the rest of the scenery great job though mate well captured

This entire park is now closed for flood defence work until sometime next year…!

Castle up the road luckily hasn’t had any work done for a while and none planned AFAIK so just in case anyone else researching places in Kendal who might not know I thought I’d post this comment.
