Roche Abbey - Added to English Heritage in Yorkshire and the Humber

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Roche Abbey

Land owner permission not required.

TOAL public right of way, good view of abbey and surroundings.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 22/09/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Just around the corner from me some nice walks in the area with plenty of open farmland to fly on.

I keep meaning to pop down there but by the time I’m finished work the gates down to the carpark are closed and I don’t fancy parking my camper in the layby on the main road or down gypsy lane next door and leaving it unattended near Maltby

Just walk down the left hand side of it and take off behind it.
The area belonging to heritage is fenced off
