At first sight these look like medieval ruins actually part of the 19th century iron stone industry. The ruins are giant Kilns once used to roast iron ore before it was sent on to Teesside furnaces. Located on the disused Rosedale Railway.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 23/05/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
