toal was from inside the park, down on the grounds where they sometimes have cattle
Property and estate owned/run by Bristol City Council, it’s large park with very few people around and no signs saying no drones etc, the only stipulation on entrances were No mopeds or motorbikes?
parking is roadside at top of park or i believe there is parking at The Dower House itself
Hackness Grange, N Yorkshire. 13th October. Mini SE, 5pm. No idea about the history of the estate sorry and too windy for the SE to travel too far over it.
Now we need to select the three best of a fine crop of images and videos. You can vote for all, none, some or one of the images, the poll closes at 22:00 on Monday October 24th. And here they are:
So, another competition closes, and three more “first among equals” are chosen by, we suspect, mainly the competitors themselves. 27 voters and 16 entrants.
There have been a few anxious messages to Chall Com from competitors worrying about whther grand country spreads or socially deprived housing was the subject. They were placated with a picture of five door cars and the assurance that each RTF is judged by their peers. The subject is what you make it.
And you decided that third place should go to both @Acedrone for his picture of a wee hoose with tartan grass:
and to @clinkadink for his rather splendid looking Charlton Park bathed in autumn sunshine:
Well done to Chris and to Jason!
And then we find that our Jason has been very busy and has also interpreted the subject in two different ways. So you voted his picture of Eridge Green in the Milton Keynes housing estate, Kents Hill into second place:
Congratulations again to @Acedrone for a picture of MK with no H or V roads or concrete cows!
And the one you have voted as the winner is @firstadekit with a fine looking sunset that seems to have been photobombed by a Grade 1 listedcountry pile, complete, it appears, with chapel and lake. Well done Ade for your deserved first place!
