You too John! Look forward to seeing what Gem you’ve found for this one
Stunning shot mate, definitely a winner
Very arty Rob I reckon Steves right, you have a winner there
Not a clue, but great clip
The programme was the excellent World in Action and the music was “Jam for World in Action” heard in a longer version below along with a sad tale about trust and money in the YouTube description …
Hi, this will be my first competition entry. Can you help me please with how to submit the image?
Do I just uoload it in a message addressed to you?
What are the sizing requirements for uploaded images?
many thanks
Hi Bren. Image size is no concern unless it is ludicrously big. 3000x4000 pixels are perfectly ok as is slightly larger.
On your reply box is a line of icons at the top. The seventh along. looking like something unpleasant to sit on is the upload button, it will allow you to select a picture from your device and upload
Videos are slightly different. The limit for direct upload is around 50Mb which isn’t much at all. For a video upload it to your Vimeo or YouTube channel and then post the link to the vieo on a line of its very own - thus:
https://vimeo.com/my_prizewinning_video
leaving a clear line above and below.
Go for it!
Niiiice Rob

Thanks! I’m very much a novice at video, so I’ll probably just watch other people’s work for a while- some very impressive content on here. For now, I’m content with still images and will get my entry in shortly.
best wishes
Love the colours there Rob
is this your entree? Apologies for the terrible pun but just couldn’t resist. I’ll let myself out
it may have to be. I do have two batteries worth of video but not sure if I will be home in time to edit it. It will have to do for starters - as you so punningly point out. My main course of action would be to create a snappy 15-second clip but my laptop doesn’t have the power for decent software.
Now added to Dronescene
Can I submit this as my entry into the comp and maybe move my previous entry (Sycamore Gap) into the mobile phone category, please. Don’t think I,ll get back there for a few weeks and at least this a drone pic. This was taken today on the maiden flight of my new ex4 pro. A stepping stone to a dji next year hopefully. (Work bonus permitting!!!) Just manage to sneak this in before sundown!
Cracking shot!! I can’t remove or move your old post but I will disregard it when the time comes to vote
Cool pic Chris love the colours
Is it a morning or evening shot?
Thanks mate. No worries about previous post. Definitely go with this. After all it’s a RTF comp!
Cheers Steve.
Evening shot, Steve. I,ll be looking to buy some strobes next given how short the days are getting.
Probably a good idea with the nights closing in
