Nice spot.
This messed with my head for a while I was trying to work out the route but then realised one is a viaduct and the other an aqueduct.
Looks like you caught a break in the weather then

Hah yeah, it looks like they are linked but yeah you are correct,1 viaduct and 1 aquaduct. I think they’re from about 1770ish, will have to google.

@macspite and @McSteamy2010 can I make a suggestion for the next competition. Obviously if you don’t like it that’s fine. I was thinking rather than have one long thread (almost 200 posts at the moment), we could have this thread as an info and comment thread with new subjects, comments etc. Then create a new thread specifically for posting the latest entries with just likes and no comments to scroll through. Then when competition is finished move the thread into this main thread and start again for the next competition. I think this may help get more people voting if they don’t have to scroll through loads of posts and comments to see the photos. What do you guys think?

Also maybe have the current competition thread in the photos by drone section. When I first joined I didn’t know my way around very well but would always look in the photos by drone section for new photos to look at.

I love the thought of all this and would be amazing to have a thread with just the photos in. I’m not sure it would work though, people love commenting on the photos and videos and for the new people joining it better to have it all in one place.
I think what we’re doing in the next one is posting updates more often with links to all photos as they come in to try and cut down on scrolling time.

I see your points and agree with people liking to comment on photos (I’m a serial liker/commenter myself ). So if its all to stay in the same place how about moving the whole thread to the Photo section so people looking for photos to view that maybe don’t interact with other areas of the forum can find the photo competion easier?

Or a poll at the end and the highest wins? Instead of likes? Then it’s all in one place.

Just had a quick look and looks like you can set multiple choice and set limits on max and min votes etc
