When taking photos, I’ve learned the tough way that you can miss out on spectacular colour by not being patient or by not looking behind you. So I always try to remember this when I shoot.
As my DSLR was pretty much on auto mode by this stage (settings configured by me and all I had to do was press the button) I had time to get the drone out. This also equates to my first flight well after sunset but, thankfully, like the UK the light remains for a considerable while before darkness truly hits… so, enough waffle, here is my favourite Italian, walled, hilltop town in Tuscany - San Gimignano.
