I have used trees on bigger prints. I like em as they seem more efficient, but as these are small
Trees work any size
handy if its sitting there whilst downloading images\video to phoneā¦noticed mine was getting warm whilst doing that the other nightā¦wasnt near pc to put card in so had to download via app
wearable Halo master chief helmetā¦got to fit lights and there is a cortana ring on backā¦lights all fitted in glow in dark filament so will glow green once led,s are turned offā¦thinking about fitting an amazon dot or echo in it that i have for when its on a display standā¦the visor is just a temporary one untill i get some gold acrylic
A few hours printing that
What printer are you using
fokoos odinā¦printed over a week, used a whole roll of pla+ then printed light inserts in white glow in dark plaā¦its going to have led lights on front sides, and a large cortana light up disk on rearā¦this is just a test fit before sanding and painting in green camo and distressing so it looks wornā¦its goimg to be fully wearable but am doing a stand for display also getting some gold acrylic for visorā¦its for a family member
Well I wonāt be printing anything for a few days let alone anything like that.
Had a failed print yesterday and it clogged the hot end up.
Went to take the nozzle out and the fucker snapped. Complete strip down of the hot end to get the rest out. Thought i had a spare but donāt, Amazon hurry up Iāve got shit to do.
Used a torx bit pushed in using the vice to get it out.
And that black mess to the right is what i pulled off the hot end.
What printer is it?
Sovol sv07.
The joys of 3D printing
Itās not that old
look at the revo nozzles the solved all my messing around with nozzles, and hot ends
nope I donāt print with anything exotic (those nozzles will make your eyes water), and yes I use all sizes with my favourite being 0.6 for test fit prints
Cold pla works better than any thread lock ive seen.
When the print failed it must have caused a blockage which caused seepage into the thread. Brass isnāt that strong when it comes to some ham fisted pilock and a ratchet.
Shit happens. New ones on the way. By 10pm tonight apparently.
Means i can get everything ready for next weekend specially the wing. Instead of playing with this.
Might even go for a hobble down the prom.
Here is the final design, Iām currently documenting the changes in the garden from winter through summer.
The idea is to have consistency in the air videos and photos off the same camera which makes post production easier.
This happened to me too, I found that heating the nozzle to 260C enabled the easy unscrewing of the nozzle without breaking it.
I heated it over cooker flame to clear out the threads with a small screw driver. This though happened quit a few years back when I first started 3D printing.
On my old Anet A8 i could pull the thermister and element out and blast it with the blow torch. Not quite as easy with this.
Or by 1.30 pm
trick I found is get it up to 280c and it gives up the ghost of being a good thread lockā¦ also give it a time to heat soak too
bit of an expensive gimbal cameraā¦ think your missing the point of a uavā¦ you know it flies too
Noo way, didnāt know that it doesnāt have feathersā¦
