Just thought do a straw poll of who owns what. I actually want to play the tinywhoops in Velocidrone at some point, though thought be nice to run a poll on what people own!

I believe velocidrone is closer to the real physics, though nothing will match exactly. Liftoff feels too floaty for me. Get the rates, and angle the same and you can learn the basics of a move, but itā€™ll always be slightly different IRL to a SIM. The complicated moves yeah do practise (I think inverted yaw I spent a while on a sim before doing IRL), and was a lot easier to do IRL afterwards.

Next time we play Iā€™ll try get some nice chill chase cam footage to post here just to show you donā€™t have to be zooming about at max throttle with the reaction times of a Hummingbird like @GunjaFPV to have fun.

I still canā€™t powerloop but the chill session practicing that yesterday definitely means I canā€™t powerloop, lessā€¦ :joy:

Bizarrely as always been poop at large powerloops I looped that building great when I first joined, 3 or 4 times, then as I practiced more I got worse and worseā€¦

So SIMs have ruined me :slight_smile:

Though I loved loved loved that Bardwell map!

Yeah thatā€™s definitely how to ā€œWINā€ at the ā€œGAMEā€ But Iā€™m playing it so I can translate what I do in the ā€œSIMULATORā€ into my actual flying and believe me I wonā€™t be setting my actual camera angle to 70+ degrees and floating around tracks at full throttle on rails on my real drones. it completely defeats the object of why Iā€™m in the simulator in the first place.

Meh. Maybe Iā€™ll get faster naturally with practice, but Iā€™m quite happy plodding about with 30-35o. Prefer a smooth flight filming stuff personally so Iā€™m a happy camper playing chase doing that :smiley:

Like @DeanoG60 , not attending to ā€œWINā€ (though happy to take temporary wins while you learn the tracks :stuck_out_tongue: ).

Be good to learn more freestyle as well.
