Prop-proof or ducted drones only? ![]()
Ducted , is anything prop proof. ![]()

New coaxial cable for the Meteor 75. The spare antenna has also arrived. I hope the new one holds better than the one it came with.
First I have to detach the old coaxial wire from the camera module. I managed to scrape the glue off the O4 board connector. The camera might be fiddlier.
My Flywoo wide angle lens is going to arrive tomorrow. Thats the next step.
All done and working again. I even used some hot glue in places again to secure the shoes and plugs. But not the camera one in anticipation of the wide angle lens.
But I just noticed that I mounted the camera module the wrong bleedin’ way! ![]()
I guess that’ll be a new FPV challenge! ![]()

Thanks. I’m flying. You still cleaning? ![]()
Doh! I now managed to break the canopy and grommet attachment during my test flights!
More spare parts have been ordered.
This is what 3D printers are for. ![]()
Yeah, I haven’t got one. Maybe in “the fullness of time” I shall own one.
Yep. I swore I would never have one. ![]()
Once I own a critical mass of drones, the 3D printer will become a natural necessity.
You are obviously new - there is no such thing

Flywoo Wide kit installed. I’m quite happy with the result after focussing. However I managed to add 3 very slight specks to my sensor. It was unavoidable because the removal of the glue residue after dislodging the old lens was harder than I had imagined. It’s not a cinewhoop so I’m not too bothered.
All assembled, new canopy, new aerial, Flywoo wide angle kit. The quad flies a little more sluggish now, but I don’t mind at this stage. The wider viewing angle more than makes up for it.
It’s a bit windy here today, so I couldn’t quite make out whether there’s still jello or the breeze gave it some shakes. I think it was wind disturbance. Time will tell. All in all a very worthwhile upgrade. Plus, I learned a lot.
I also gave the controller an upgrade. ![]()
