Won’t those braces increase the risk of snagging in a tree or bush, if you were to crash into one?

Is that 8S battery from 2x 4S ?

On the pic you can see 2 x 6S batteries in parallel - Reason being I never bought any “7inch freestyle battery” (around the 3000-3500 mAh range) - but I have plenty of 5-inch ones half that capacity ( 1200-1600mAh 
)
I also run this one with 2 x 8S battery in parallel (same logic - only bought 5inch capacity ones 
)
No issue running batteries in series though - I do it this way for the X-Class to get to 12S

Just off the bench.
Pavo 20pro with o2 lite. Removed the ducts\prop guard and changed the props to HQ with screw fitting instead of push on. Small flight in the garden felt snappy and light. Down from 125g to 86g

I will let you know tomorrow after 1st propper flight. Ive only tested in the garden and not enough room to send it. Not with my skills LOL

Finally got that 1st flight.
First run of the Pavo20 pro lite with the ducts removed.
A bit shakey on full throttle with standard PIDs. Felt more like a 5 inch than a pavo. I was having a blast and forgot about voltage. One cooked pack and a crash

Recently acquired this Hyperlite Floss 3 LITE with some 1922kv 2207 motors. Will be an HDZero Race VTX build, thinking about using the Halo stack as it looks like reasonable value given the built in ELRS. I’ve not built a race quad before, tips and advice welcome

I have one running on a quad I flew quite a bit recently and no problem with it (same quad also uses the Race V3) – ESC’s did not score amazingly well in the Chriss Rosser recent ESC comparison test but it is a very compact stack perfect for light race builds.

oooooh - I loved that frame - my last one was for 7" but I lost the quad unfortunately. It was light and very good. and I have to admit I enjoyed the videos of his designer - pity he is no longer active on the hobby. I might even have some spares for this frame.
However, I had some challenges tuning it at this size / at the time. Let us know how it goes!
