Yes similar but only one direction unlike uarts tx/rx
Vx is the voltage for the servos, on S1 you don’t connect it as the ESC signals do not need a 5v supply
When you connect your two wing servos to S3 and S4 the Vx pins will power the servo motors
As Martin @GunjaFPV says it’s 5v unless you change the jumpers. Don’t, for what you are building 5v is just fine
As never use a GPS looking for some ideas for best place to mount it ???
I was thinking on the removable canopy part but would mean I’d have to keep removing it when I change the battery, unless I had extra long cables to it ???
I dug mine into the wing and covered in tape, you dont wanna keep removing it. Normally GPS units come with long long cables to keep it away from other electronics. Dont want anything on the canopy
I keep see things about ur wing has to be balanced?? Would it not make it lob-sided if u put it in 1 of the wings ??
A GPS thing won’t maker a blind bit of difference. if your ailerons are 100% perfect I’d be amazed (they won’t be), don’t need to worry about that
Where did @Yith and @Steviegeek mount theirs?
Mine is just under the lid behind the carbon sparr, I’ll send you a photo.
Not a lot of thought went into it but it works fine, pulls in loads of sats
Inside sounds like a plan was thinking of putting my tbs on 1 of the wings
Well got a little further and to be honest I’m really enjoying it… fitted the GPS just waiting for the nano and the camera coaxial cable to be delivered then the pain really starts when I plug it into Inav and try and work that out
Looking good, and neater than my mess of planes, ahah!
For you or us?!
Can u use hot glue gun on a wing I.e it sticks and won’t melt it ???
Yes, Andrew Newton does often and if it’s good enough for him it’s good enough for us lot
Good to know. I’ll start putting mine in my bag again
Yep found him on YT, Id already watched a couple of his videos seems to knlow his onions
Well all installed apart from the GPS which I need new but I’m sure I can start the software side of it ?? Not sure where u start maybe down loading inav
Ok just had a look through YT and found a channell call painless360, he does a vid on how to set up INAV but he does state you need to set your radio up as well. He also does a vid on that but its on a TX16 which is going to make rather hard to follow on my Tango 2, can anyone please point me in the direction of a Tango2 video as struggling to find one and a little unsure what I shouild be looking for…
well kind of there I have my Tango2 connected and my stick inputs work , I VTX but no OSD but I need to WTFOS the vista so not to worried. The one thing that is baffling me is I have power at the board where I soldered the ECS to but none at the ESC ???.
Which goggles are you using?
All sort on the OSD front thanks Steve, just not getting any power to ESC double checked the configuration and all seems good on that front ??
