Speedybee Mario 8

Hi,

I built this drone last week. It is a long range 8” drone. Built with GPS, wouldn’t want to lose it. Apparently with the ban in China going on you are not able to buy these at the moment from speedybee, not even the frame. I was lucky to find a frame at HobbyRC along with some of the parts I used. Others came from unmanned tech and Myfpv. Built using mainly speedybee parts: motors, stack & GPS. Has a chaos Pro VTX 200 - 1600mW, Rush Cherry MMCX RHCP Antenna. Runcam all weather camera. 2 batteries 4500mah 6S XT90. Got it all setup on beta flight on Saturday in readiness to fly on Sunday and it poured down. Hopefully I can maiden it next weekend. This is probably the 10th drone I have built now. I enjoy building as much as I do flying and there is no greater feeling than taking your latest creation to the field and launching it. This is probably the best 8” made at the moment and as usual the price of the frame is amazingly cheap. Not sure how speedybee do it. If your thinking of an 8” long range cruiser this should be the one but be quick because once these frames are gone there is no saying when they will be back on the market. It is also foldable for ease of transport.

What ban? I’ve just had 2 frames delivered, ive got 4 motors, a load of props a reciever and a buzzer on route.

However that frame is out of stock now at hobby rc, but is in stock on aliexpress.

Came from the horses mouth. Speedybee told me they can not sell them and even though they are on their site it won’t let you order one. Not even RTF BnF or PnP. Said it relates to the ban in China that’s why I couldn’t order what I wanted. Yes you can get parts no problem, must just be certain suppliers/manufacturers especially DJI, must be a knock on effect from DJI ban in America. Might be a range thing. It is a long range drone.
