I decide I want to get into this new hobby. Been a few years since I’ve spent any real money on myself after having kids etc…
I realise I need a few items… then I need a few more items… then I need the thing… to charge the thing and it needs an adapter for the thing… Then I need the more expensiver thing because “buy once cry once” (and its shinier than the other thing)…
I don’t even have a drone yet, and I’m out here buying flux and soldering irons… I’ve got goggles and my transmitter… I even bought velcro straps because “one day ill need these”…
The wife is gonna have kittens when she sees all this stuff turn up later today… lmao
You’re just one step ahead of me. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered my Radiomaster boxer crush to get started in the simulators. Down the rabbit hole I go
Ah dude that sounds amazing x Yes I’ve got about 4 hours in the simulator and I’m still very bad, I’m at that point where I’m like… have I done the right thing?..but experience tells me when you start thinking that, that’s when you’re about to turn a corner so I’m excited to push through this bubble. I actually bought my first drone but it’s gonna stay in the box until I’ve got at least 20 hours on the sim, then go from there, and when I can do all i need to be able to do. Best of luck on your adventure Iain!
So far I’ve found FPV skydive quite fun on my switch controller in acro on the tablet. Perhaps it will get harder on the pc sim with the full size controller
