I have they latest offer is to ship me a flight controller. But I not doing soldering - so I rejected. Give them one last chance then credit card section 75.
Hmmā¦ I guess this is why Iād rather build from scratchā¦
Letās face it weāve all been there, me probably more than most
I you lived closer Iād happy to helpā¦
Iād be happy to join in on a Drone / Solder workshop day. I know you have a few things to āfixā.
Ta Jason - I need to acquire some budget before I fix some of the others drone.
Fleet badge awaits.
Posted letter to credit card company today ā¦ Section 75. (attached 29 emailsā¦)
Anyway latest feedback by flywoo is the propeller may be installed the wrong way.
I tried flipping them, same response. But just so I am not complete stupidā¦I have sketched a diagramā¦
Grateful if a sane person, who has a pusher style can confirm can you confirm which prop goes on motor 1
Come on, youāve seen his soldering, heās doing the right thing!
Is that photo with the props on the right showing the props the right way up as they fit? As Iām confused by that?!
It looks like the middle bits where they connect the wrong way up, and therefore everything upside down, but hard to tell from that
Right - I used a fresh set of props.
On Motor 1 - prop 1.
Etc
It flies looks like one of the props were damaged.
If the photo has the props the right way up, then theyāre correct by the rotation (I assume youāve checked with props off they are moving as BF thinks they are?)
I used a new set of props.
From diagram:-
Prop 1 on motor 1. (Leading edge at bottom left and top right. Printing on prop facing up)
Prop 3 on motor 2. (Leading edge at top left and bottom right. Printing on prop facing up)
Prop 1 on motor 4. (Leading edge at bottom left and top right. Printing on prop facing up)
Prop 3 on motor 3. (Leading edge at top left and bottom right. Printing on prop facing up)
Prop 3 on motor 4 damaged on old set.
I was methodically going though all four possible of orientations. 1 - CW up, 2 - CC Down, 3 - CCW up, 4 - CCW Down.
To make sure I was thinking about it slowly and methodically.
Hence Prop 1 on motor 1. Prop 3 on motor 2. ā¦ etc.
Regardless of whether the motor spindles point up or down, as long as the printingā¦
faces the sky then they are the correct way up.
Rotation direction is the same as any quad regardless, just make sure you have the firmware set correctly for props In or Out (Out is reversed)

Iām with you as I have a pusher and it took a bit of thinking to get my head around it. Below is my cinelog pic from to and 2 nd from bottom hope this helpsā¦
Iāve marked the leading edge with white paint as itās not to clear and Steve is right numbers/writing faces towards you
Cheers helpful. I think it was the damaged prop - but I could be kidding myself.
I think Painless 360 said writing on the prop in the direction you want to go, then make the leading edge meet the direction.
This is correct For a pusher drone, the writing on the prop should be closeted to the motor bell so that the writing is still facing the sky.
