Still flightless in Leeds

Hi all, just purchased my first drone, a Mini 2 4k. I will be a casual user (Op and Flyer ID’s obtained) and have only had one short session so far to start to learn the controls. It will be a while before it all comes naturally I guess.
If anyone knows any good local quiet locations I can use to practice in relative peace as I suspect I may be a bit self-conscious/embarrassed until I get a bit more experience.
I’m sure I will be using this forums resources for help and support in the future and look forward to much enjoyment.

I thought the only park you could fly in was Middleton park?

If there are local council restrictions I am not aware of them?

I’m not far from there, never been though. Thanks.

I’ve visited Leeds regularly over the past 25 years but never flown my DJI mini 2 there. However, the parkland surrounding Temple Newsome could be a good place as there is lots of open space. Just give the trees good clearance by flying high over the top of them.
