Batteries have far greater energy capacity in less space.
For the same energy capacity, batteries cost much less.
You can change the battery in much less time than recharging the capacitor.
You can carry a whole pack of batteries in less space and weight than the charger.
Batteries have a far more stable voltage, so do not require the additional electronics for voltage regulation and stabilisation.
Still, have fun in your experiments. That’s how progress is made.
