I’ve just bought the Syma X5 as my first practice drone. The battery is good for 7 minutes flying time. Any way for me to prolong the flight time i.e. can I put an upgraded battery in it?

There are bigger capacity batteries out there for the Syma X5. 1 example below. Never bought anything from this site so can’t comment on quality of service etc.
Battery size advertised as 50mm x 23mm x 5mm, how does that compare with the dimensions of your original battery?
According to the website the battery should fit in the Syma, but I’m v.suspicious because I can’t find another similar battery that size anywhere. I know that people strap these batteries to the body of the drone, but I’ll give that a miss. Decided to get a couple more 500s. Thanks anyway mate.

Take a look on Amazon though as there are 600mAh and 720mAh batteries on there that will give you a couple more minutes in the air. Also found these that are “fulfilled by Amazon”
Just check the size against one of your original batteries.
