I think think should do for me and my monkey. My wingman @AtomicSquirrel will have his own digs.

Currently available on the baldy man’s online emporium for under £160.

Goes up in about 20 minutes and goes back in it’s bag afterwards without any faffing about.

Has such a tent been invented. WOW… I thought they grew when you took them out never to go back in.

Mine does, with the help of my foot :+1:

Sometimes the only way.

I know right, I was shocked. It’s an oversized bag so even after it’s been released from its factory bondage it’s fairly easy to stuff back in.

Just what you need. Not great when it takes you longer to put it away then it did to put it up.

Had the whole lot down and back in it’s bag in under 15 minutes. Al the guy ropes are attached anyway and there’s only four poles which are on a piece of elastic

Sounds like a good one there. Nice and easy.

I used to have a 3 man festival style job with a built in groundsheet that I could have up in 5 minutes. This isn’t much different. The bedrooms have built in groundsheets, you just duffle peg them to the eyelets on the canopy, pin the centre ground sheet down. Done. My aim is to be on site, have that up, beds in, lighting up & a brew on in under 20 minutes.

I have a tent here that was given to us free many years ago. We have never even taken it out of the bag. It supposed to have rooms and a main section. No idea if all the bits are there or if it is any good. Been asking my nephews to help set it up and they never did so we ended up just leaving it in the garage. One day I may attempt to see if it will go up. Guess it is not easy though.

Many years old tents are never easy. That’s part of the fun

Will get it out soon and see what state it is in.

On a totally different subject, is there radio comms used at all over the weekend?

Cant decide whether I’m annoyed or happy with the weather as i now have no excuse not to drag the monstrosity of a family tent out of the loft and see if it is usable or landfill fodder and i have to buy a new smaller one :folded_hands:

Whilst I have taken radios only for the fact that if it rained we could all talk to each other, we have never used them.

I’ve got mine as part of the away pack anyway, that’s why I asked.
