If camping bring a windbreaker as it can get breezy.
It’s also very hot in the sun with limited shade so suncream is also usually a good shout.
Water, wipes and mossy repellent are things I’d also bring.
Most of all a chair - drinks and a good attitude and you’ll have a cracking time
Someone I know that was working in Panama on the canal expansion for 5 years said there was only one effective repellent that meant he could have his family with him there.
The first attempt at building the Panama canal was ended due to mozzies making it impossible for Europeans to live there for extended periods .. so probably the perfect test for a repellent.
I’ve certainly not suffered once since I got the stuff (well - other than when I didn’t use it. ).
So we’ve all got something to fly (if applicable), we’ve all got somewhere to sit, some shade, grub for the duration, a hot and cold brew to drink somewhere warm and dry to put our head & somewhere to have a crap anything you get after that is a bonus.
