Back out in the snow today! although it started to rain… oh and I slipped on the ice and mangled my arm so now resting up! 
I found this old oak tree where the snow was completely untouched around, took a number of shots and settled on the topdown simply because it shows it the delicate intricacies of the branches.
Oh and had to include a snow based self portrait

Thanks and yea lol, I was tempted to go higher lol, just loved the unspoilt aloneness of it. Like that feeling you find a beach with no footsteps

Could be. It’s a lovely spot but in the Summer there could be hundreds on the path so a spot 50 meters away, perhaps on the top above the rocks?
