Best place IMO although the walk back up the hill is a workout!
Tbh I was trying to gauge where you took off from. I walked around for a good half hour before deciding on that spot - mostly because it was away from people on the paths
I took off from the path but hovered on waste land until people had gone past before landing

Haha! I came to the conclusion that the excess weight slowing me down was due to the amount of photos on my SD card.

My BIL lives there - he’s the vicar.
We stayed there 2yrs back and I wanted to get my drone out along the Manc Ship canal but in the end I ended up relaxing too much

Got out to Rutland water yesterday and managed to get this quite dramatic shot, brought the exposure right down in the shadows to bring more attention to the sky
