Not been able to get out flying recently, but a throwback to my last trip to Iceland, such an amazing place to fly! This is a shot of Vik, South Iceland.

Great Orton Wind Farm near the Watchtree Nature Reserve. Taken last week on one of my first flights with the mini 2.

Cheers Neil. I could’ve done better but was on my lunch break whilst at work so didn’t have a lot of time. Also, still getting used to the mini 2 so didn’t fancy getting too close to the turbines!

Great shot Chris :+1:t2: Looks like you’re getting on well with your Mini 2 mate

Cheers Steve. Those turbines can fairly spin at some speed. It would be great to fly through the blades while slowly turning but that would take good timing and balls of steel! :joy: I’ll stick to my cautious approach for now :+1:

Haha I don’t blame you mate
I was watching a turbine spin the other day, flying round at a rate of knots! Was thinking would make an awesome video if someone had the balls to fly straight at it at top speed and go straight through the spinning blades! I would watch and like that video alot!
Unfortunately I’m too :chicken::chicken::chicken: too

In just 15mph winds the blade tips of the larger turbines can be traveling at around 120mph. . . .

I bet that would put a fair dent in any drone trying to take on one of those.!!!
