Sunday morning some choose to play football, while others fly drones
Stunning Steve!
I was photographing a wedding at Airth Castle yesterday and had been hoping for some decent weather to get some aerial photos as I hadn’t flown there before. What I got was wind and rain for most of the day then just as the light was fading the rain stopped and a bit of colour appeared in the sky.
Recently had a few days in Peak district, generally too windy but a brief lull in the wind allowed for a few nice images from Ladybower reservoir.
Gorgeous images Steve , definitely worth the early start!
Some fine images there @RichGBiscuit. Thank god for lucky break!!
Cheers Billy, it is nice when it works out well!
First time out flying since snapping my Achilles back in August! It’s also the first time I 've really risked the mini 2 to get a photo. Flying under the tree canopy out over a small drop over a stream. (with a couple of walkers stopping to watch). Would have been screwed if the RTH kicked in but thoroughly enjoyed it!
Great to see you back out and about Chris Love the image with the flowing water mate
Thanks Steve. It felt like it was along time coming. Only been about 7/8 weeks but staring at the same 4 walls was driving me crazy. Made the most of today though. Even put an entry in the RTF comp!!
Yeah I can imagine that would be enough to drive anyone insane but you’re all mended now just in time for winter season lol
Great image Chris!
Many thanks, John. Much appreciated mate. I think it was the only usable one of about 20 taken !
Stunning light Chris!
Thanks, John. It was about 20 minutes before sunset
Lovely image Chris. I usually put the RTH mode to hover whilst under tree canopy which saves a lot of heartache if I do lose signal. But I also usually forget to put the mode back to normal afterwards and wonder why it’s not coming back to me on my next flight
Great shots Richard. That first one is a real cracker.
Beautiful light captured here Chris. Love the second shot.
Thanks, Steve, that’s my favourite too.
