Yeah me too It’s why my favourite time for photography in the Highlands is from Oct to March.
Finally got out to fly after several days of wind.
Was still 20mph on take off and 30mph or just over in gusts.
Not as interesting as the other photos but the build on one of my sites is coming on well - this site is 14 bungalows…
Had the Mini 2 in the air for only 2 minutes today at Queen’s View near Pitlochry. It nearly got carried away à la @clinkdaink it was blowing that hard. The snow was sweeping in fast from the direction of Tummel Bridge and shortly after I took the photo we were in whiteout and it stayed that way the rest of the day.
At long last the " Not Good To Fly " alert didn’t greet me this morning so I had an hour on my local beach looking for a nice RTF seascape image …
Excellent pictures, well done.
Very nice - and just where/what is your local beach?
@stubbyd ……That is Marsden Bay South Shields 4 mins walk from my door …….the sea birds will be starting to nest soon on the rock and the cliffs so flying in that particular spot will be out of the question until about September
This isn’t very clear, so apologies. But my misses thought the dog was cold (even though it’s a furball). I think my dog looks like ET

@notveryprettyboy ……Beeee Gooood
Nice!
Nicely edited mate, great shots.
Thanks Steve

Ventured down to @McSteamy2010’s patch today, or close at least Brean Down, what a place that is. It has it all, Stone Age settlement, Roman Temple, Napoleonic Fortress and WW2 secret experimental weapons testing site
Like a kid in a sweet shop.
