Great place isn’t it. Hoping for better weather soon and we’ll organise a meet :+1:

So you felt totally at home … :stuck_out_tongue:

I always thought that Pontins was a lot further south. I was only a couple of mile from there as it turns out.

Yesterday was cracking weather at Brean :sunny: I’ve taken the family to Weston Super Mare lots of times, but next time, I’ll bring them here. Much nicer :+1:

Park on the beach, So much easier for flying, just sit in your boot and let the drone do all the work :raised_hands:t4:

Get the best of both from the air, you can see Weston but enjoy Brean :+1:

TBH, I was a tad nervous. UAV forecast showed 20>31 mph on the Down. And at that height, over sea, I opted for the M2P. It handled it well. Once I got down onto the sands, the wind had all but disappeared, as the peninsula was shielding the beach. So I took the tango Mini 2 for a spin.

I did initially, but needed to get to the fortress on the Down. So parked in the NT carpark by the cafe. £4 all day, and I was there for 5 hours. Those steps killed my knees though. Right one is clicking bad :grimacing:

Not actually climbed them yet but I’ll be sure to do some warm ups for when I go next :joy:

There’s over 200 steps, and some are quite steep. This is the top of them …

The walk from carpark, up on the Down, and around the fortress and back is 5.5 miles.

A couple of screenshots from a video …

I visited Malmesbury today, weather wasn’t too bad. Even managed go inside the Abbey and film it. Fair do’s, it is stunning … they even had a 600 year old vellum bible on display.

On the way back, this was staring at me, so I had to pull in and snap it …

Another lovely set, number three is a stunner and I do like what you did with mono and d.o.f. on the second one. :slightly_smiling_face:

Cheers John, yes, that second one was fun editing. Thanks :+1:
