This was a place I kept thinking about, and wondering if anyone had any drone shots of it. I remember going when it was first installed, and was so impressed. Next time I’m in that area, I shall try to get some pictures… thank you.
Early morning at my usual ‘practice ground’ in Coventry this morning. My first time flying in sub-zero conditions… cold but very still
Out for a walk with the camera and drone today, I also took something along that I treated myself to a couple weeks ago. I’ve decided to share the very last pic I took as the sun started to set and I headed home to light the stove and fill an empty wine glass.
Cheers GADC
Perhaps I should have gone for XL? Clothes seem to have shrunk these days!!!
This was the second last photo and clearly demonstrates what is bad about drones. They quite obviously make your hair fall out. Well, it wasn’t like that before I got one!!!
Should have bought the beanie, too, then.
@clinkadink Top of Birdlip Chris? Although looks a bit flat you are high up.
Not quite, about 30 miles south east
Ahh…Thought it was a bit flat but not many high hills round there in my recollection. I have a brother who lives in Cricklade and when I worked I had to visit a lot of RAF stations in the area and it all seemed flat to me.
Yes, that section is flat (between Swindon and Marlborough). Although 10 miles to the south west of there, just visible on the horizon on the left side of the photo, is Pewsey Downs, the highest point in Wiltshire (Milk Hill, 295m/968ft)
Spoilt for choice round here in Staffordshire! But not much else going on!
What a gorgeous shot, nice one
Thank you
Morning people, it’s cold out there, if you are going flying, wrapp up and keep your batteries warm.
