From the Beacon, highest point for miles. 60m.

On the way home ducked down behind the college, certain tree lines etc. Nothing. I’m thinking no need for FCC hack🤔.

An elephant appeared in a field near my bit a couple of weeks ago. Turns out it’s the local Young Farmers Association entry for Bale Art 2024, raising awareness for the #KeepTalking campaign.

Really lovely detail in that image :+1:

So much so, I had to lower the texture of the surrounding trees. The college looks mint though.

Thanks john👍

Sorry Chris just reread your post, thought you was on about the 3S performance.

No, never ever had any issues with what ever drone I used from the mini 2 to avata, 2S or what ever. I’ve had the 2S actually in the courtyard centre of the college down to the second floor, from 1/2 mile away and still nothing.

I think your all imagining this silly interference thing, or yers can’t fly for toffee :rofl:@PingSpike @SparkyFPV

Grounded today, although not for the want of tryin, the wind was off the scale. Wanted to try out some different settings on the 3S, so without flying , just the drone sat on the wall…I did my checking out. Tests were for the 50 mp and 12 mp just to see what was what. Plus the AEB mode or doing it manually.

Happy belated 113th birthday to Teesside’s most iconic landmark, The Transporter Bridge

From memory I thought the opening was closer to Halloween, but upon checking discovered it was actually 17 October 1911

Birkenhead docks. Il admit wirral waters does make an interesting looking backdrop. Although it doesnt at all fit in with the original buildings next to it.

The Singing Ringing tree in Burnley Lancs.

Early doors yesterday. It was windy as fook, which gave the said tree all the tunes in the world . Rather spooky while there, especially when it was still bloody dark :scream: :joy:

Given that it was 113 years ago, I’m impressed you remembered it to within a fortnight. What was it like at the opening…?

Believe me, I was a lot younger and fitter

There is actual footage of the opening online, somebody falls over the edge and had to be pulled back up :flushed:

I have questions… How many other people have done that? How many had he had? How, in 1974, did he call 999 when he was “currently swinging below the famous Middlesbrough bridge in his car.”
