Was having a clean up on the PC, goes through the folder of New Brighton from a couple of months back and found this.

I was only reading the other day about once you get back from shooting what you want, It’s a good idea not to start post until the adrenalin of getting the images dwindles and you become more objective to the images you’ve taken, particulary to the ones you wanted as opposed to the ones you might of randomly took.

When I did this little trip I had in mind the image I wanted for the RTF and jumped right into post when getting home (it was the last day of entry after all). I did look at all the images what I’d taken, but I think I was blinded to some because of the the image I 'thought ’ I wanted.

It’s happened before, when I’ve been skimming through folders for deleting stuff and had an ‘Oh my God, how the f@ck have I missed that one’ moment.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or do any of you Pros out there do this consciously ?

Thanks for any input in advance

This was taken by the Air2S, single DNG and tickled a bit in LR

Yip but not very often I have to say. I have been going through all my photos the last few weeks. I have SSD’s all over the place and I’m trying to get them organised. I try my best to not have to edit anything and do as much as I can in camera, so if the thumbnail doesn’t interest me then it’s gone!!! Not come accross any crackers like that in my collection lately though

I kinda made a ‘promise’ to meself when I started the photos…good house keeping and don’t keep stuff just for sake of. It works most of the time, but as you’ll know, doesn’t always work out that way😂 So I have a cull like your having. Am a hoarder by nature, me sheds an alladins cave…

:scream::scream:, could be some blinders there mate

Cheers Darren👍
