A really lovely image! I’m with Dave on crisp, it really is. Stunning light but what I really love is the fact that all the buildings are nicely vertical. One of my pet hates in drone photos of buildings is leaning verticals.
Thank you very much sir .
Vertical wise, I’ve started taking more notice of since watching a Christian Möhrle tutorial
Not much “activity” at the Longridge Activity Centre … other than some bailing out, probably.
Every year they get hit, and hit hard, but they always bounce back, there’s resilience baked in that’s for sure!
The mist lasted all day on Thursday, but was thin enough to pop the drone up through it on my local flood meadows on the River Thame near Stadhampton. Rather magical. DJI Air 2S and Pixel 7 Pro.
Very seasonal
I’m a bit of a night owl, so usually miss the mist, but it lasted all day.
Absolutely fantastic love them !
Edit : all of them ….
Love the 4th one!
Stunning!
Bisham Church in the foreground, with the flooded fields showing up highlighted by the setting sun reflecting warmly. Air3S, 1/125, f2.8 iso 200
They are all so good.
Thanks so much. The mist was thin enough not to worry about soaking the drone, and I didn’t need to get very high to clear the top. Not flown in mist before.
Today I headed down to the Clydeside for a test flight with new Mini 4 Pro, timed it perfectly for some lovely light on the Glasgow Science Centre Tower. I have to say, I wasn’t really expecting a great deal of image quality difference between my Mini 3 Pro and the 4, but there certainly is, quite a bit. Images are cleaner and sharper. Image below is a jpeg converted from the original 12MP RAW processed in LR.
A fly around of HMC Vigilant at the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour at the weekend.
One of four UK Border Force Cutters… A chance encounter as these vessel rarely transmit via AIS.
Some more pics from this afternoon’s first flight, along the Clydeside in Glasgow, with my Mini 4 Pro. Only had time for one 20 min flight, but more than enough to be seriously impressed with the Mini 4’s image quality. I’m going to be selling my Mini 3 Pro, but if the quality of the 4 is going to be good enough for what I need it for, my Mavic 3 Classic good be going too.
180° panorama shot taken around 12:45pm. This is literally the assembled stitch from the drone, taken into LR, tone and balance auto-corrected and then exported at full size. I am now thinking I really AM going to like flying my new Air3S [edit] The exported file size from LR is 13.6Mb, yet this has uploaded as 5.6Mb … I was under the impression we could upload these in their full glory? How’s that got squeezed down?
What did you save it as ? Jpeg, Png, size( resolution ) or whatever.
