Noted for future uploads - too late to edit the original post now, so I’ll leave it as it stands. Thanks for the clarification guys, it’s getting so’s I need someone to hold my hand these days
Quick up and down flight today checking out various settings and suchlike. Captured this Free Panoramic image which is largely straight out of the camera aside from auto colour correction on the jpeg. Air3S using the 24mm lens. Very early days of using this drone but I am really liking what I am seeing even without really having gotten to grips with using it fully. Subject is our home valley as seen from the eastern side.
First night flight with the new Air3S. Interesting to see the incredibly bright light underneath the drone illuminate the launch spot, took me by surprise. Was impressed with the brightness of the red/green blinkers. They were super visible at all times during the flight and really helped keep VLOS tracking. Struggled a bit to achieve a sharp manual focus, wasn’t really sure how to best optimise the process. More practise required, but last night was a bit too chilly to be standing around for too long in the chilly air temperature.
Ahh, didn’t know that, thanks for the heads up. I’ve not changed the C1/C2 buttons so I’ll have a little explore. Didn’t spot that in the book of destructions
A somewhat moody looking atmospheric shot taken early evening as the sun was setting and there was a cold chill in the air with mist hanging. Using the 70mm lens on the Air3S, Free Pano mode. It’s surprising how much detail is in the dark areas. Not played about with, just auto-corrected in LR for tone and colour etc.
Found it! I’d gotten it in my mind that C2 would flip the gimbal on its side (like the Mini 3 Pro) for a portrait shot - but obviously the Air3S doesn’t offer that function
