I was down West Wales to look at (and ultimately purchase) a 2nd hand Sony A7 ii to help replace my ageing Canon 60D.

On the way I needed to waste some time so as it was a sunny winter afternoon I paid my first visit to the Lower Lliw Reservoir … I believe I may need to return but with wellies!

I’m hoping so. Main reason for purchase is to assist my annual duties when I have to photograph my martial arts federation’s tournament.

Wanted the higher per second shot count and the focus tracking capabilities.
