Taken this afternoon just outside Carlisle. Thanks to @Crackerjack for starting his Great Steam Train thread. Had the Mini 2 with me as I really wanted an aerial shot but just too windy to risk putting it up. Had to resort to the iPhone instead.

Hadn’t thought of this until now but how about putting the location details in the steam thread (W3W is good for that) or on Dronescene if it’s somewhere you could fly from?

Great idea Andy. I’ll sort out the W3W location on that thread. Since I haven’t flown from that location yet, I’ll hold off on Dronescene for now.

Am I going completely blind or has she got a different number on the smoke box from the side of the cab? The number on the front, 45627, ties in with the name plate on the side, Sierra Leone. However, the number on the cab ties in with Alberta.

No you’re not going blind, well spotted!
Now we know that even steam trains have fun in the sheds at night, and in a hurry to get dressed must have got their clothes mixed up LOL
