Looks like Android handle home screen webapp shortcuts differently from iOS.

I’ve just put a change in place which should fix this for Chrome on Android. Can’t promise it’ll work with other browsers on Android but tested ok with Chrome.

Firefox is OK for the icon - not for the short description.

Android, that is.

Deleted the shortcut on an old Android tablet, Chrome, and saved again, working fine, thanks.

I’ve put something in place this evening @macspite that’ll help with this one.

When you enable the measuring tool it’ll now temporarily disable the click capabilities of the visible layers.

Which means you can now measure from/to/in/out etc of any items:

Heads up, if you zoom in or out, or if you click on a cluster-number marker it will then enable the layer clicks again and you won’t be able to end a measure on a polygon.

Simply turning off the measure tool then turning it back on again will reset things and allow you to drop-measure on the top of an item once more.

Best I can do mate!

Also, you will all notice that the font for the measurements has been increased a tad, too … that makes it considerably easier to read.

The current location had stopped working for me. Running Chrome on Android 10, looks like Google have started restricting features on http pages in their push for https. I entered dronescene.co.uk and it defaulted to http. Amended the address to https and it’s fine. Can you change the hosting to redirect http to https?

P.S. anyone else see Eric Morecambe when they look at the new icon?

Working for me OK.

DroneScene is https://

It is for me but unless you key in https, it defaults to http which Google are starting to restrict. Http also shows the non-secure warning icon.

Ah - from the link in the hambuger? Yeah - correct. Hopefully that can be corrected.

Key in dronescene.co.uk without http or https and it goes to http. That can be changed.

Not just the burger, anyone just keying it in. I didn’t know it was in the burger :joy:
