“One simple trick they don’t want you to know.”
The most click-baity phrase on the Internet.
“You go way up in the fucking sky and you try and hit some shit”.
Botgrinder videos are definitely funny.
I dare say Le Dribs video where he dives the side of a water tower was way more informative on diving objects. Basically overcook the dive, so tilt more forward so you are looking at the object and not the ground until you feel you need to pull out. If you don’t overcook it, airmode pulls you away from the object much quicker. But I have watched Bot’s video as well.
Is that the one he teaches a guy with a DJI FPV drone ? It is very informative indeed…
Tbf to Botgrinder though, he is only focused on the gap and not the dive process itself…
Just starting to build another plane, and came across this useful info.
Keep the power wires of the esc short at the expense of the length of the motor wires.
Does that apply to quads using individual escs, as well?
I assume so, but the distances are short in quads to worry about I guess
This stack looks very tempting. I know you get what you pay for, but it all comes from China? It has a 9v 3a bec too for digital
£48.40 for a 60A ESC…
I got the following for £5 more… OK only 50A ESC, but still. That is a 405 too, so better than the 411… Still I think I grabbed a bargain (and touch wood been fine)… Though I connect the vistas to VBAT personally
Duplex?
Well it’s an F405 has more UARTS than 3, so not available. I think it means RX and Compass (SDL/SCL on TX3 if you wanna use it). looks like GPS on UART1 there, the TX on 3.
I’ll be honest. Looking for someone to buy it and try it out before I buy it
Haha not me. Is cheap, and for 3 RX’s… VTX (MSP), RX, and GPS, 3’s enough isn’t it… Not too shabby price… found any “real world” reviews?
Glad I got my speedybee for such a good price tbh!
I am after an fc. But i can wait. And two nice esc’s. Hence the searches i have been conducting. For my plane
I’ve got one of these for my Mini Talon…
I’ve got one of these for my Mini Talon
Can anyone tell me why I should not use one of these motors or ESCs on my new atomrc dolphin?
The spec of the parts in the pnp dolphin is 30A esc. 2306 2000KV motors…
These are just second hand from an old eachine wizard.
They do the start up tones and the motor bells look straight…
KV is a bit high, but if 4S and a 6" prop you should be good.
Or 3S could be good,
If you let me have the parts I’ll stick them on my thrust gauge and work out the best prop and battery for maximum thrust
That would be the plan…
Going to use 6" bi-blades or 5" tri-blades and the 21700 4S packs I have.
This one is all about reusing the mass of spare bits I have…
I’m more concerned about whether it would be bad to use these old parts.
I think it would be good to get some life out of them.
Old parts that work are good parts. At least you know they work.
