We will of course also need to have a chat about the boring rules and requirements etc. I’ll send you a pm later on @Steviegeek
Yes I’m in… I’m at Heathrow but can drive about
Just down the road from me , well M4 ( reading )
Happy to do some of the south west
Pinging @group-southwest
Yeah if I’m around I’m happy to. Should try sort a southwest meet at some point anyways, there’s a few of us floating around now
I would like to help if i can , not sure of the route or how close it comes to me ,but im willing to travel
I’m daft enough to give it a go. Might even make the effort to visit the mainland
add me in guys ,i’m happy to help
Am happy to get involved if there’s any massive gaping holes around the West Midlands/Warwickshire but @Steviegeek may have it covered.
I’ll be needing local people to help and considering my crap artistic skills to take most of the filming
I’ll do the coordinating
whats involved @Steviegeek ?
Finding nice places in the area to fly around and make videos, we’re doing a video log of the country from LE to JoG
Piece of cake for you my friend
And I will.
let me know the plans mate, I’m up for helping out
Sorry must of clicked your post by accident earlier when reading threw.
Not sure if south east will get a shot at this only 2 has volunteered and I’m one lol
@group-southeast anyone else interested or maybe you haven’t seen the post for a big challenge
A more interesting output might be a YouTube video of the flight, sure it’ll be 24 hours long or whatever, but with some timelines marked against a map then it’d allow people to jump into the section they wanted to see and would be more immersive … that said if we assume each person can only capture 1km per flight (VLOS and all that), then it’s 1340 flights. Umm, maybe scrap my idea
Ill happily help out on this depending on route etc
I would be more than happy to cover the north east, possibly up to Berwick if I make it a ride out.
At 10m/s thats about 37hrs of footage.
