When I was a teenager (too long ago) I used to go and stay on the main Copeland Island. There are several cottages there (privately owned) and the family of a school pal owned one. It’s difficult to land a boat but there are landing stages at each side of the island. The middle sized island (called Lighthouse Island) is a bird observatory. The one with the lighthouse on it is Mew Island. If you don’t have your own boat to get there you can go on one of the trips out of Donaghadee during the summer. :+1:

Moncrieffe Island Allotments, taken on DJI Mini2, Friday 5th August around 14:20

Run by the Perth Working Men’s Garden Association, the site has 58 full plots (each of around 250 square yards) and 13 half plots. There is currently a 4 year waiting list. Situated on Moncrieffe Island in the middle of the River Tay in Perth, the island is also home to King James VI golf course and is believed to be one of only two inland island Golf Courses in the world.
