22. A Static Caravan Site :white_check_mark:

  • 24 or more mobile homes :white_check_mark:
  • All pitches occupied :white_check_mark:
  • 5 or more mobile homes with green roofs. :white_check_mark:

4 points claimed.

This is Banchory Lodge Caravan Park, in, er, Banchory.

There are some gaps that I wondered might be unoccupied pitches, but based on the spacing of the caravans, I think they are not.

Photo taken on my DJI Mini 2 at 09.09 today.

Hi @Kvetner unfortunately we cant give you the bonus for ‘All pitches occupied’ as there is one pitch vacant so 3 points awarded :+1:t2:

3 points awarded Paul, sadly no extra bonus for the 2 spires :slightly_smiling_face:

Dont beat yourself up too much Kvetner as that image wouldnt have gotten you the ‘All pitches occupied’ either

Here is a screenshot from Google Maps showing clearly at somepoint there was a Mobile Home in the available pitch under the tree line making it vacant now :slightly_smiling_face:

4. A Military site of either World War - wiki or website proof to be posted with your image

  • Run as a tourist attraction (website or wiki entry to prove)

Does the tourist attraction have to be for its origin purposes? I have a airfield near me that is now a nature reserve.

The site has to be a tourist attraction of some sort.

The picture below is former RAF Ibsley. It is now home to, amongst other things, a watersports centre.

Farmland requisitioned fir an airfield, concrete runways laid over rubble from the Southampton blitz. The airfield and some of the real-life pilots appeared in the wartime propaganda film “The First of the Few”.

Closed at the end of the war and taken up by a local car club. The perimeter track was, unusually for a race circuit. run anticlockwise. It attracted drivers of the calibre of Roy Salvadori, Coin Chapman and Mike Hawthorn. The land was stripped for gravel when the circuit closed; the resulting lakes include a nature reserve and a watersports area.

That would qualify

I’m going all in on this one … 3 points please!

  • A Railway signal box
  • A Side-Tank engine plainly visible in shot
(it doesn’t say it has to be a real, lifesize one, and Thomas’s friend Oliver [No 11] is a great example of a Great Western Railway 1400 Class - a side tank engine of 0-4-2T configuration Oliver | Thomas the Tank Engine Wikia | Fandom … go on, you know you want to give me the point  )
  • Drone Scene entry

P.s. I need to give thanks to my spotter, without whom this picture would not have been possible, and my youngest, who is currently wondering where his train has gone…
