Anyone would think you were paranoid, Ian.

It’s not as if anyone is listening in …

checks to see if my webcam light is on… :joy: :joy:

3 points awarded. At first glance we thought it was a toy Percy - in which case you wouldn’t have been awarded the point - but as Oliver is a side-tank engine you successfully negotiated the loophole.

Hi Colin,

Having looked at your entry in detail, it seems those pitches may have a few too many players to be eligible for this item. The closest pitch has what appears to be 14 people in play, and the furthest has 15.

Judging by the website for the sports centre, it looks like you may have captured their 2G 7/8 a side pitches.

Unfortunately we will have to reject this entry, but you are free to resubmit should you find another couple of matches with fewer players involved

2 linesman and a ref? The other match had a linesman missing :joy:

Noice … though I feel a bit ‘dirty’ for having invoked a loophole :grimacing:

This is my entry for:

Taken at 0900 hrs 12/0822 with mini 2.

  1. A Military site of either World War - wiki or website proof to be posted with your image✅️
Used in First World War but at no point used for military purposes in the Second❌️
  • Aviation use in either war
    A Military :white_check_mark:
Run as a tourist attraction (website or wiki entry to prove):white_check_mark:
Gate guardian (an aircraft or vehicle “standing guard” at the entrance} Unless the sign for the Gliderclub shown in Wikipedia counts as a Gate Guardian then no!
    Drone Scene entry✅️

https://www.staffordshiregliding.co.uk/

Most of the site is currently leased by the Staffordshire Gliding Club. The main runway is grass NE/SW and 1000 metres long. The club has a membership of 100 and a fleet of three two-seater training gliders and two single-seaters for qualified solo pilots. The one remaining tarmac runway to the South is used by a driving experience company. The old control tower is still standing as are a number of wartime buildings which were used for many years by displaced Polish refugee families

4 point I think!

4 points awarded Colin :+1:

Getting closer !!!

This entry should be like those game shows where you triple your points at the end and someone who was losing then somehow wins.

Just getting the subject should be 5 points.
All on same carriageway an another 5
All in same lane another 10
No other vehicles another 20
and in the order an extra 40 Points.

Mwahahahahahahahahahhahahaah

Otherwise I’m yet to want to sit on the edge of a road for 90 minutes in the hope of just getting the bloody subject for a point. Make it more interesting. And just to be super clear. I don’t secretly have this and trying to whip up 80 points for myself.

This is Nether Park Quarry, near Drumoak in Aberdeenshire. It’s a sand and gravel quarry.

I claim 3 points because I don’t think any of the machinery visible is a dragline excavator (although happy to be told otherwise!).

Drone scene entry:

Photographed at 10:44 today with my DJI Mini 2.

3 points awarded :+1:t2:

I’m not going to be a serious entrant this year. Quite literally just posting stuff that I’ve spotted while on holiday

If you can even get the subject, let me know where :joy:

I think you need to be in Manchester or London to stand a chance.

Blue cab lorries and white cars together - not a problem. It is the red bus that put any points out of the window down here.

Since this competition has started I have seen 2 red coaches or buses and none on a dual carriageway. Ironically I saw all three together on the motorway towards London. I’ve seen more darn cranes!!!

Sneak peek of next year’s challenge:

1. A photo of the house over the road from yours

Bonus:

-50 points if it has windows
-100 points if it’s made of bricks
-Instant £200 prize if it has a roof

As has been stated previously, this has been designed as a challenge. No one has ever claimed that it is - or even should be - possible to attain the maximum points available. Though we look forward to seeing if anyone does manage it this year
